Uphiller Event Series

New this season, the Uphill Event Series is designed as a fun, low-pressure lead-up to the Annual Sugar Bowl Uphiller on March 14th. Starting January 15 from 4-7pm, with additional dates on January 29th, February 12th, and March 12th, these free evening events welcome all ability levels and allow participants to choose how much vertical they want to take on.
We will meet at Village Lodge, where all demos will be available. Demo setups start at 4pm with group welcome and uphill start at 4:30pm. Participants can head to the Beltroom after for great deals on delicious fare. Bring your headlamp, it will be dark along with anything else you want for your personal comfort (water, snacks, etc).
Each night blends education, free demos from Tahoe Mountain Sports, and guided uphill laps — no prior experience required. Event registration is required to participate. We will have Free uphill passes available for these events only. If you like it, you can purchase a season uphill pass here.
January 15 Demo Partners: Black Diamond Equipment with Helio Carbon Skis and Skins, Scarpa Footwear with Quattro SL Boots and limited F1 boots. Tahoe Mountain Sports will have a variety of other options. Email us at the shop if you have a specific gear requests from our demo fleet and we will try to make it happen.
Attendees will earn one raffle ticket for each event attended in person, with a separate raffle at the grand finale Uphiller event. In-season participants will have a chance to win a La Sportiva speed suit, Julbo sunglasses, or Contour race skins.
