Oktoberfest at Tahoe Mountain Life: Best Dressed & Facial Hair Contest

Truckee Oktoberfest weekend is coming, and we've got lots of fun stuff happening all weekend downtown! Come hang out, shop exclusive in-store discounts, and show off your best Oktoberfest look, whether that's a jaw-dropping outfit, a standout couple's costume, or facial hair that deserves its own category.
We're hosting a Best Dressed Individual, Best Dressed Couple, and Best Facial Hair contest on Saturday, October 10th from 3–4pm. Winners are decided by crowd vote and a judging panel, and there are prizes on the line for all three categories.

Three categories. Three winners.
Best Dressed Individual
Dirndl, lederhosen, a wildly creative costume, or something entirely your own, as long as it's festive, it's fair game. Show up ready to be seen.
Best Dressed Couple
Bring your partner, your best friend, or whoever you can convince to coordinate with you. Couples will be judged together on creativity, commitment to the look, and overall vibe.
Best Facial Hair
Beards, mustaches, mutton chops, if you've been growing it, now's the time to show it off. All styles welcome.
Winners in all three categories will be chosen by a combination of crowd vote and judging panel. Winners announced by 4pm so you can make it down the street to Alibi for the Stein holding competition at 4!
How it works
Easy, show up at 3.
No pre-registration required. Just arrive at Tahoe Mountain Life by 3pm on Saturday, October 10. While you're there, shop in-store discounts and hang out with the Truckee Oktoberfest crowd. Contest judging wraps up and winners are announced by 4pm.
