Marlette 50K, 10-Miler, Spooner Lake 5K and 10K - August 9th, 2026
Join Big Blue Adventure on August 9, 2026, for a spectacular day of trail running in the high-alpine beauty of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park, with all races starting and finishing at Spooner Lake. We offer a distance for every runner, from ultra-adventurers to first-time trail participants.
The Marlette 50K course puts your limits to the test on scenic, rugged, pristine Sierra singletrack. Runners will tackle the challenging Tahoe Flume Trail, one of the region’s most stunning sections. You will be rewarded with sweeping panoramic vistas overlooking the sapphire waters of Lake Tahoe, the tranquility of Marlette Lake, and the expanse of the Carson Valley. The 10 Miler features the North Canyon, a section along Marlette Lake on scenic singletrack.
The Spooner Lake 5K and 10K offer an accessible, scenic experience on smooth, well-maintained singletrack. Ideal for beginners and families, these courses loop the tranquil Spooner Lake, guiding participants through peaceful pine forests and open meadows at over 7,000 feet.
All events are held on the same day, sharing the energy of Tahoe’s premier trail running events. Registration is open now for this must-do event, which is part of the Tahoe Truckee Running Championship Series.
