The trail options in the Truckee/Tahoe region are nearly endless at this time of year! There are also plenty of family friendly trails so everyone can get out and enjoy some fresh air this holiday weekend. If snow is covering the ground, the Legacy Trail is a beautiful walk along the Truckee River that is plowed throughout the year! Depending on the weather you can walk, run, hike, bike, or maybe even snowshoe all around Truckee this holiday weekend. Try and Find a Bit of Snow

The snow season certainly isn't in full swing yet, however, there are still some pockets where you can have some fun in the snow! Mt. Rose is the only resort open in the North Tahoe area for skiing, and the best area for any kind of snow play. You may even be able to snowshoe or crosscountry ski on Nevada Nordic's trail system.
