Partner With Us This Labor Day! Community Giveback Partnership Application

Twice a year, Tahoe Mountain Sports brings our community together through our Rep Sample Sales to raise direct funding and awareness for non-profit organizations doing vital work in the Truckee/Tahoe region.

To ensure equal opportunity and support emerging local initiatives, we are opening up applications for our 2026 Labor Day Sample Sale Beneficiary! We are seeking an engaged local non-profit partner to join forces with us, raise funds for their cause, and host a successful community event together. We'd love to hear from you if your organization sounds like a fit! 

What We're Offering

If your organization is selected as our Labor Day Rep Sample Sale beneficiary, Tahoe Mountain Sports will provide:

• 7.5% of proceeds from the sale (typically in the $2,000–$4,000 range). The last two Labor Day sample sales resulted in the nonprofit walking away with about $3,200, though the amount isn't guaranteed to be the same every year.
• All marketing materials and assets — graphics and language ready for you to share.
• Recognition as our beneficiary across our marketing.
• Payment within 10 business days of the event.

What We're Asking For

In return, we're asking our nonprofit partner to help us get the word out and lend a hand on sale day:

• Share our provided graphics and language at least 3 times in the lead-up to the event, with at least 2 of those being email.
• Provide volunteers on Saturday, September 5th:
  • 3 volunteers, 7–9 am (set up)
  • 2 volunteers, 9 am–12 pm (mostly cash register)
  • 2 volunteers, 1–4 pm (cash register and cleanup)

Volunteers will help with setup and takedown, run the outside cash register as needed, and generally help point folks in the right direction during the sale.
