Performance Meets Style: Exploring On Running Apparel

I love the ON running shoes (see my most recent writeup on the On CloudUltra).  But I also love their clothing!  I tried out their Active Tank in a super cute peach color.  This tank is light weight and airy for those hot summer days or even indoor gym workouts.  It feels as if you are not wearing a shirt at all.  It provides a nice high neckline for good coverage, but a vented back to keep you cool.

I also tried out their Running Short in a 3-4” in-seam with a fitted liner that is about the same length.  This liner is not just an inner brief, so provides some additional modesty or protection against that inner thigh chafe that some of us experience.  I also liked the pocket on this short.  There is a key loop to ensure no key mishaps on the trail, room for a gel or sport snack, and has a fabric fold-over to eliminate the zipper which I find annoying doing my post run stretch and get that terrible zipper stab on the back.  This is a great short for the gym with the longer liner providing a bit more coverage when stretching, bending over to grab weights, or doing your deadlifts.

The fabrics that are used by ON in their apparel are super soft and wicking.  After a few washings, the fabrics are holding up nicely and still look like the day I purchased them.  I will definitely look for more ON apparel and I look forward to seeing their winter collection of tights, long sleeves, and jackets
