Labor Day Rep Sample Sale - Saturday, September 5th

Twice a year, our parking lot turns into something between a trade show and a block party. On Saturday, September 5th, reps from over twenty outdoor brands set up tents right outside our doors with deals you won't find often, plus a chance to talk gear with the people who know it inside and out.

What You'll Find

Apparel & Outerwear — Rab, Royal Robbins, Roxy, Carve Designs, Fox, Roark and Liquid Activewear bring jackets, shirts, pants, swimsuits, and everything in between.

Footwear — Merrell and Asolo have hiking and trail shoes at sample sale prices, with Stance rounding things out on the sock front.

Eyewear, Headwear, & Helmets — Julbo, Giro , Buff, Fractel, and Blackstrap bring it from head protection to eye protection. Goggles, sunnies, neck gaiters, hats, you'll find it all for any age or activity. 

Packs & Bags — Osprey and Herschel have you covered from the trail to the airport.

Hardgoods — Leki, Kuma Furniture and Stanley cover your from ski poles to camp kitchen needs.

Shop for a Reason

This year, every purchase supports Send It Foundation, a local nonprofit founded right here in Truckee.

Send It Foundation provides free outdoor adventures for young adults fighting cancer and cancer survivors. Programs are designed around adventure activities, skiing, climbing, biking, and more, creating space for participants to take on new challenges, connect with peers who share their experience, and be reminded that our one precious life is worth living to the fullest.

Send It was founded by Jamie Schou, a Truckee, California outdoor enthusiast who was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in 2012. Through his two-year battle, Jamie kept chasing the mountains, the water, and the trail, living each day fully, right up until his passing in 2014. Send It carries his belief forward: that "someday" is today, and that adventure and community have the power to bring strength and joy even in life's hardest moments.

The sample sale also lands right at the start of SENDtember is the Send It Foundation's signature annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaign held every September. Participants join or create teams to complete physical challenges — like biking, climbing, or cold-water plunges — to raise money funding free outdoor adventures for young adults fighting cancer.
