Kílian Jornet x Julbo: No Coincidence

Some partnerships just make sense.

Julbo announcing Kílian Jornet as an international athlete for 2026 is one of them.

Kílian has long been one of the most respected names in mountain sports, from trail running to ski mountaineering, and not just for his performances, but for how he approaches time in the mountains. His recent project, States of Elevation, is a good example of that: focused not only on effort, but on exploration, efficiency, and moving thoughtfully through high alpine terrain.

That same mindset is what makes this collaboration with Julbo feel aligned from the start.

Performance-Driven, Mountain-Tested

To kick off the partnership, Julbo is launching a limited capsule collection for Spring 2026. The release includes five models from their performance and mountain line, each featuring Kílian-specific branding and packaging.

At its core, this collection is built around function:

  • Lightweight, secure frames designed for long efforts
  • Full coverage for high-alpine environments
  • Lens technology that adapts to changing light conditions
  • Durable construction built for consistent use in variable weather

These are pieces designed for movement, whether that’s trail running, ski touring, or long days spent above treeline.

Built on Shared Values

What stands out most about this collaboration is the shared approach behind it.

Kílian has consistently emphasized a thoughtful relationship with the mountains, prioritizing sustainability, efficiency, and respect for the environments he moves through.

Julbo has taken a similar approach in their product design, focusing on durability and performance over short-term trends.

That overlap is what makes this feel like more than just a seasonal release.
