Join us for the second event in our Avalanche Education Series, Trip Planning and Airbags. We are stoked to bring back our favorite event series at one of our favorite venues, Alibi Truckee.

Here we will learn all about planning a trip into the backcountry. This will include everything from weather, parking, and route planning. We will also talk about airbag technology and how they work. If you have an airbag, BRING IT! You’ll have the chance to pull it for a test run. Mammut, BCA, and Ortovox canisters will be re-filled onsite for free!

The event will be outdoors (weather permitting – meaning no precipitation), so please dress accordingly. Bring extra layers to keep in the car if you need them. We are talking puffy jackets, beanies, gloves, a blanket, anything to keep you warm through the duration and make it to our amazing raffle! All proceeds from the raffle benefit Tahoe Backcountry Alliance.
