Segment Updates
Sawtooth
Start at the Ridgeline Nature Loop, take a right onto Sawtooth when you cross the Sawtooth intersection. Coming back, pick up Gentle Jeffery at the road intersection. Note: the GPX file has been updated to reflect the proper route.
Donner Lake Rim Trail and Frog Lake Cliff Overlook
Due to approximately 1-2′ of standing water in the tube going under I-80, completing the south section of this trail is optional. If you choose to skip the southern section of this segment and avoid the water, you can park and start at either the I-80 westbound Rest Area or at the Castle Peak trailhead. Note: you will get wet shoes if you do the section that goes through the tube under I-80.
