Partner Up - Find The Right Partners To Safely Enjoy The Backcountry With

Wednesday, January 15th

Join us for the final event in our Avalanche Education Series, where we’ll tackle the critical topic of finding the right partners for your backcountry adventures! We've known for decades that human factors are the primary contributors to backcountry incidents, and backcountry success/fun. That’s why we’re teaming up with SlabLab to create an interactive experience designed to help you meet potential partners and teams for the backcountry.

This isn't just another mixer—it's like speed dating for backcountry enthusiasts! You’ll cycle through rounds of discussion with fellow attendees, focusing on key topics like skill levels, desired adventure spots, and other important variables. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and language needed to find and connect with compatible partners.

The evening will kick off with speakers from SlabLab, who will emphasize the importance of choosing your adventure partners thoughtfully. Plus, everyone who attends will receive a temporary membership to our partner-finding network, allowing you to reconnect with new contacts while maintaining your privacy.

This event is practical. It's not just for "sitting and listening." And, if you attend, you'll get a temporary FREE membership to SlabLab so that you can stay connected to the partner-finding network in order to stay in touch with folks you meet during the event without having to share your personal information.

Doors open at 6pm. Give yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot and grab beer and snacks before the formal presentation begins at 6:30pm.

There will be a HUGE raffle benefitting the Nickolay Dodov Foundation who aim to provide FREE avalanche safety educational outreach to youth and all age snow sports enthusiasts.
